Now in its 4th year, on Sunday July 21st the Queens Youth Music Festival or QYMFest is the premier open-air, live concert event for families in Queens NY. This year's host is TV ICON Jaleel White from the 90's sitcom "Family Matters". Presented by Prototype Music, the festival’s mission is to celebrate the arts through music and dance performances by up-and-coming artists and community groups. Performing alongside them are more established and nationally recognized young artists. QYMFest is dedicated to inspiring young talent from Queens, as well as the surrounding neighborhoods, in an effort to unite us as one artistic community.

Attendees will get the opportunity to enjoy artistic expression in genres like Hip-Hop, Pop and Multi-ethnic music. In addition to live performances, QYMFest will feature a number of fun-filled activities including: art installations, dunk tank, 1000 lbs SLIME CHALLENGE and Lego workshops; youth awards; fan meet-ups and outdoor games. To complement the event, we will have generous giveaways provided by our festival partners. Local vendors will be also present.
